2020 has been one hell of a ride. There was the Australian bushfires, the floods in China and global protests. It’s also the year a pandemic changed the world.
So 2020 certainly hasn’t been easy, that’s why we want to end it on a positive note. By ranking the best and most heart-warming Christmas ads of this year.
#10 – Aldi’s Kevin the Carrot
Starting at number 10, we absolutely adored Aldi’s Christmas ad with the reappearance of Kevin the Carrot.
#9 – Amazon’s The Show Must Go On
This is more of a short film than an ad but nonetheless really depicts the true meaning of Christmas.
#8 – That’s an Asda Price Christmas
In true Asda fashion, they have done a cheeky and fun ad for Christmas this year, which we loved.
#7 – What The World Needs Now
Yet another campaign that focuses on acts of kindness, Boots’ ‘What The World Needs Now’.
#6 – This is M&S Christmas Food
We always love an M&S Christmas ad and this year is no different!
#5 – Tesco’s No Naughty List
#4 – TK Maxx’s The Lil’ Goat
#3 – Waitrose & John Lewis’ Give a Little Love
#2 – Burberry
A truly wonderful Christmas ad that brings a spark of joy.
#1 – Sainsbury’s Gravy Song
And taking the top spot for our favourite Christmas ad this year is the one by Sainsbury’s which celebrates food, family and memories.
And given all the challenges the creative industry has faced this year, it is even more impressive that there are so many strong ads this year.
