Now you might be thinking that a good headline isn’t important, but it is. A headline is one of the first things you notice on a newspaper, on a blog, on an ad, etc. So you need to make sure it grabs the reader’s attention quick and peaks their interest.

Follow these 4 key tips and watch your content attract a bigger audience, quicker.

Write a summary of your content

Summarise the main point of your content into one sentence and don’t worry about how it sounds. Just keep it simple.

Use numbers in your headlines 

People like numbers and are drawn to numbers in copy and headlines. It can be applied to almost anything and adds specificity which grows trust between a writer and reader.

Include exciting adjectives

Words like excellent, effective, fantastic, mind-blowing and so on can evoke more emotion from a reader. And it’s these motivating factors that will convince them to click.

Keep it short and sweet

There’s nothing worse than a long and lengthy title, they want it punchy. Try to keep your headline between 8 and 14 words.

Short and Punchy
